In my opinion one of the hardest parts of being a Sergeant is designing the sweatshirts. Trying to please everyone is nearly impossible and quite intimidating. When I started I had no idea where to begin. I wasn't sure what past years had done, and I didn't have any idea how to start. Luckily I knew some old Cadets who let me look at past sweatshirts to use as guides. Here are a whole bunch of pictures of the different sweatshirts past years have done.

What helped me the most was looking at different shirts and sweatshirts on Google. I took different team sweatshirts and put a Cadet spin on them to give me more ideas. I then took what I liked off of all of them to create my sweatshirt. My year I couldn't decide between two designs, it seemed that whatever I chose someone was going to be unhappy and hate the sweatshirt. In the end I just had to realize that it is near impossible to make everyone happy so you just have to do the best you can (as cheesy as that sounds its what you have to do).
